MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a solicitors based in Belfast who is seeking a Legal Accounts Assistant on a either full time or part time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Processing daily entries into the firm's legal accounting software
- Performing daily bank reconciliations for all client and office accounts to ensure exact matches
- Handling electronic transactions, including the keying of bank payments
- Allocating incoming funds and cross-referencing same to the correct client files
- Processing incoming and outgoing cheques and cash, preparing bank deposits, and paying suppliers
- Checking and posting of all invoices and client bills raised by fee earners
- Reviewing completion statements for property transactions to confirm financial accuracy
- Recording and reconciling disbursements such as searches and other third party fees
- Assisting with credit control by monitoring aged debtors
