Job description


We are currently recruiting an Admin Officer for our client based in Belfast City Centre. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.




Start date: 10th June


Rate of pay: £13.75PH


Duration: 1/09/2026


Hours of work: 37


Key Responsibilities:

To assist the EO1 Manager caseworker to issue decisions on cases by undertaking the following duties relating to Criminal Injury (CI) and Criminal Damage (CD) cases.
• Obtain relevant information both orally and in writing from relevant stakeholders to inform the decision-making process and to analyse same.
• Request Police Reports (and set reminders as required)
• If police report not received after two requests escalate to DP.
• Respond to written/ telephone enquiries in appropriate cases.
• Arrange the provision of professional reports as directed by the EO1 in CI and CD cases
• Approve/ authorise payments in appropriate cases based on Compensation Services delegated financial authorities
CI cases: Medical Records, GP Proforma questionnaires, A&E Hospital notes,
CD Cases: Loss adjuster report and Motor Engineer report etc
• Meet Performance targets and contribute to the achievement of Team Targets
• All other duties as required of the post in order to provide the appropriate support for the business.
• Run CRV checks, check for duplicate applications, check for related cases,
• Issue abandoned letter if no signed FOC received with 2 months (approx.), route any late applications to DP for decision, highlight any Modern Slavery Human Trafficking applications to DP,
• Update Court Compensation Spreadsheet (as directed by EO1),
• On direction from EO1/SO organise claimant's appointment with IME.


Essential Criteria applicants must have:


  • 5 GCSE's including Maths and English (Proof of certs required)

  • 12 months admin experience

  • Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Excellent communication skills.
