Mercy Health Lourdes is seeking a Locum Orthopedic Surgeon to provide surgical coverage and 24-hour hospital call as backfill. This assignment includes an initial April block with potential for ongoing coverage.
Coverage Details
Open Dates: April 3 (7:00 AM) April 13 (7:00 AM), 2026
Additional Dates: Ongoing needs anticipated
Schedule: 24-hour emergency call (7a 7a) with callback
Call Rate Note: 2 4 hours gratis preferred for 24-hour call coverage
Hip nailing experience is requiredOrthopedic trauma and surgical cases including:
Fractures, dislocations, amputations
Deformities and tumors of bones and joints
Total joint replacement, revision, or repair (hip, knee, shoulder)
Spine surgery (with and without instrumentation cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
Arthroscopy
Patient Demographics: Adult, pediatric, and geriatric
EMR: Epic
Setting: Hospital-based surgical coverage and emergency call
