Gastroenterology locum tenens opportunity in Michigan. Established GI program offering a mix of endoscopy procedures, inpatient consults, and call coverage with support from an experienced endoscopy team.

Schedule

• Clinic and procedural coverage during the day


• Overnight call coverage


• Weekend call coverage


• Full block coverage required for assigned dates

Upcoming Coverage Dates

• June 11-15


• December 11-14

Requirements

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology


• Active Michigan license required


• ERCP and EUS experience required


• Fellowship preferred

Additional Details

• Average volume of up to 12 patients per day


• Call volume averages 2-4 phone consults


• Hospitalists manage admissions


• No scribe support; physician responsible for documentation and pathology follow-up


• EMR: Athena and Cerner


• Well-established endoscopy team and support staff
