Seeking a Board Certified CRNA with 4 years of experience (minimum) to help provide coverage for their team. New providers will need to come in the day before scheduled start date for orientation.

Coverage Need:

Ongoing recruitment

M-F 7-3 with rotating Call 1 Night per week and 1:3 weekends

Need 1 F/T CRNA

Details:

• 
  Must be proficient in Epidural Placement
  


• Established practice with experienced CRNAs and MDA support


• # of surgical cases per month: 160-170


• Yes ICU/Critical Care Duties to include intubations when needed


• Occasional moderate procedural sedation in the ER


• Caseloads consists of GenSurg, GI Endoscopy, OB/GYN, healthy PEDs ENT, Peds Dental, Cataracts, Ortho


• Must be proficient placing labor epidurals, spinals/ITN in obese patients, and comfortable with pediatric patients


• Nerve Stimulators or U/S Machine available


• 
  BLS, ACLS, & PALS Certifications Required


• Not required to do femoral nerve block


• Must be able to provide anesthesia w/team & independently


• 
  Procedures : Epidurals and or intrathecals for labor patients and spinals for C-sections


• 
  EPIC EHR experience preferred

1 MDA available daily in OR and for call cases. Medical Direction in OR and CRNA only for endoscopy and Labor and Delivery. Call is covered from home with 20min response time. Call back for OR cases is rare but occasionally call CRNA will cover the OR after 1630 if cases are still running. CRNA call person responsible for Epidurals after hours.
