Hematology/Oncology Physician

This locum Hematology/Oncology Physician role is a full-time outpatient opportunity focused exclusively on hospital-based clinic care, with no inpatient duties or call responsibilities. The provider will manage a balanced caseload of oncology and hematology patients while working within a supportive clinical team using EPIC. This assignment is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible specialist seeking a short-term placement with predictable weekday scheduling.

Dates / Schedule

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed


• Credentialing Timeframe: days


• Assignment Duration: 2 4 months (up to 4 months)


• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, full-time


• Setting: Hospital-based outpatient clinic only


• No call or inpatient responsibilities

Job Details / Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care in a clinic-based setting


• Manage approximately patients per day


• Patient mix: 60% Oncology, 40% Hematology


• Use EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management


• Collaborate with support staff including care manager RN, medical assistants, and infusion nurses


• Coverage needed due to physician departure

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Board Certification in Hematology & Oncology highly preferred (Board Eligible accepted)


• Washington State medical license highly preferred; IMLC accepted


• Hematology/Oncology Fellowship required


• DEA certification required


• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation required


• Ability to work independently in an outpatient oncology/hematology environment using EPIC EMR
