Focus: Comprehensive cancer & hematology care
Patient Population: Leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and solid tumors
Care Model: Disease-specific, collaborative, team-based
Team Size:- 9 Physicians
- 8 APPs
- Nurse navigators, care managers & full support staff
EMR: EPIC
Clinical Research: Active participation encouraged
SCHEDULE & CALL
Shifts: Daytime (flexibility depending on scheduling needs)
Weekends: Minimal
Call:
Minimal, shared with 13 clinicians + 2 oncology hospitalists
Work-Life Balance: Strong due to large call pool
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct care for oncology & hematology patients
- Develop and manage treatment plans for complex cases
- Offer consultations and second opinions
- Collaborate with:
- Physicians & APPs
- Nurse navigators & care managers
- Utilize innovative therapies and emerging technologies
- Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered cancer care
LICENSING & CERTIFICATIONS (REQUIRED)
Board Certified or Board Eligible - Hematology/Oncology- Eligible for permanent employment (no locums candidates)
