Job Description: Locums Opportunity - Breast Imaging Radiologist Location: Lafayette, Louisiana. Facility: Outpatient Breast Imaging Centers (Trauma Level II) EMR: Epic


Availability & Schedule:

• Start date: 08/03/2026
  
  


• End date: Ongoing


• Commitment: Full-time, several months minimum


• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM


• Setting: 100% onsite (no remote)


• Call: None


• Weekends: None

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required


• License: Active Louisiana license or IMLC accepted


• Fellowship: Breast Imaging Fellowship required


• Certifications: ACLS, BLS required

Clinical Scope :

• Screening and diagnostic mammograms


• Breast ultrasounds


• Stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies


• Breast MRI and MRI-guided biopsies

Volume & Workflow:

• Patients per Shift: 40


• Diagnostics: 18 per day (with screenings mixed in)


• Procedures: A few biopsies per day (lower diagnostic volume on procedure days)


• Admissions: Required
