Physician Assistant - Columbus, GA ( New Graduates welcome)



Position Overview:

Seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our expanding neurosurgical team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in both the clinic and hospital settings, providing comprehensive care to patients with complex spine and neurosurgical conditions. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented clinician with a commitment to excellence in patient care.



Responsibilities:


  • Perform patient evaluations, histories, physical exams, and assist in developing treatment plans.




  • Assist neurosurgeons in clinic, hospital rounds, and surgical procedures.




  • Order, review, and interpret labs, imaging, and specialty consultations.




  • Provide post-operative care, patient education, and follow-up.




  • Document all patient encounters accurately in the EMR system.




  • Participate in on-call rotation and support inpatient neurosurgical care as needed.




  • Maintain strong clinical skills through ongoing professional development.



Qualifications:


  • Current and valid Physician Assistant license (or pending application) in the state of Georgia.




  • Experience in surgical or procedural specialties preferred; neurosurgery experience is a plus but not required-training will be provided.




  • Strong clinical judgment, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.




  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.




  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and supporting practice goals.




  • Experience with EMR systems (preferred).
