Facility in Galesburg, IL seeking GI locums coverage Rates:
Regular hours $475/hr, $3700/24 hours and 525/hr call-back Night call - $500, $525/hr call-back Opportunity Highlights

- Flexible Schedule: We need a minimum of five consecutive shifts per month, but would like more if possible. Shifts are typically Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM or 7 AM - 8 AM - 5 PM, with a possibility of night call. No weekend coverage is required.
- Diverse Responsibilities: The role includes care for acute and chronic GI conditions, new patient access, endoscopies, and hospital consults. The ideal candidate would have a balance between ambulatory/outpatient and inpatient/ED work.
- Collaborative Environment: You will not work solo. You will work with a team to handle patient admissions and rounding.
- EMR System: The facility uses Epic for all charting.
- Privileging: The estimated time to secure full privileges is 90 days.
- Provide general GI care, including managing acute and chronic conditions.
- Perform endoscopies and ambulatory scopes.
- Handle hospital consultations and patient rounding.
- Be available for night call as agreed upon.
- Education: MD or DO.
- Board Status: Board-Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Licensure: An active Illinois State License is required to apply. We are not able to consider candidates with an IMLC.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, and CSR licenses are required.
- Commitment: Must be available for a minimum of 5 consecutive shifts per month.
- The estimated start date is January 5, 2026.
