ICU- Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Opening in Plymouth, Massachusetts - Coastal Town - Boston is located 40 miles north About position:
- Seeking a full time experienced critical care provider to join a group of dynamic ICU providers in this 13 bed medical/surgical ICU.
- The PA/NP works as a core member of the ICU team working collaboratively with the ICU physicians in the management of ICU patients.
- The PA/NP works closely with the ICU physicians and nursing staff and other ICU providers to develop and coordinate a treatment plan of care designed to meet the physical, psychological and social needs of patients.
- Candidates for the position should have experience in acute care.
- Experience with bedside procedures needed but willing to train the right candidate.
- The PA/NP will be working in a highly collaborative and supportive environment.
- Two or more years of acute care practice, preferably in critical care with demonstrable history of proficiency in delivery of critical care medicine
- The appropriate candidate will have successfully completed a graduate level physician assistant/nurse practitioner program (Master „´s Degree)
- Must hold a current valid license or be eligible for licensure as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Must have or be eligible for, and maintain, a current ACLS, DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration
- Must complete 100 hours of CME according to national and state regulations during each two-year period of employment
