Radiologist Job Details
Position Type: Locum tenens radiologist
Location: Onsite in Wooster, OH
Start Date: November 2025
Duration: 13-week contract
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
Hours per Week: 40
Daily Volume: diagnostic studies per shift
Modalities: X-ray, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine
Subspecialty Case Mix: ER, Fluoro, Neuro, Pediatrics, Mammography, Diagnostic Procedures
- Board Certification in Radiology (required)
- Active Ohio Medical License (required)
- DEA Registration (required)
- Minimum 1 year of post-residency experience in diagnostic radiology
- Proficiency with advanced imaging modalities and light interventional radiology procedures
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine
- Perform light interventional radiology procedures: biopsies (thyroid, lung, liver, bone, renal), CT/US guided interventions, and drainages (paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess, chest tube, cysts)
- Conduct lumbar punctures, myelograms, epidurals, and arthrograms for joint injuries
- Collaborate with referring physicians to deliver timely, accurate diagnostic information
- Maintain high standards of patient care and safety in a clinical support environment
