PRN Psychiatrist Contra Costa County
$200 $225/hr Flexible Schedule
Overview:
Seeking a flexible, adaptable Psychiatrist to provide coverage across multiple facilities throughout California. This role is ideal for physicians who enjoy variety, autonomy, and broad clinical exposure.
What You ll Do:
- Provide care across inpatient, outpatient, consult/liaison, and ED settings
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations & medication management
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Perform risk assessments & involuntary holds (5150s)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Complete EMR documentation
- Assist with coverage gaps and shift handoffs
Requirements:
- Active California medical license
Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatry- Comfortable in varied clinical environments
- Strong communication & teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel throughout California
Schedule:
Highly flexible days, evenings, nights, weekends available- Opportunities for ongoing or short-term assignments
Compensation & Perks:
