Jones Gas Services is a growing organisation based in the Belfast area. With an increasing demand for our services, we are excited to be offering a gas meter engineer the opportunity to join a hard working and close-knit team. With work being carried out for a major utilities company, a leading Belfast estate agent and offering maintenance to several high profile restaurant chains in Belfast city centre as well as the rest of our private clients you can be assured of a long line of work. The successful applicant will benefit from a competitive salary along with a company van and fuel card. Opportunities will be available for engineers to progress in their respective fields.
Job description
Jones Gas Services are excited to be able to offer the opportunity for Gas Meter Engineer to join our growing team. Duties will include:
Completion first fix meter installations
Replacement of gas meter
Testing of gas meter equipment domestic premises
Replacement and repair of gas apparatus
General maintenance of gas network
Working on their own
Keeping on top of relevant paperwork
Ensuring all work is carried out to a professional standard
Following all legal requirements to comply with gas safety as necessary
The successful candidate should have the following:
Experience in gas work
NVQ Gas level 2 as a minimum for gas engineers
CCN1
A full UK driving licence
Valid CSR Card preferred but not essential
Newly qualified Engineers welcome to apply
