Hays Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be partnering with a valued client to recruit a commercially focused Management Accountant. This is a key role within the business, taking ownership of the main Irish entity and offering strong visibility to senior leadership within a growing, dynamic group.



Your new role
As Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across the finance function.Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis


• Ownership of month-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations


• Lead budgeting and forecasting for the Irish entity


• Provide insightful financial analysis to support commercial decisions


• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to enhance reporting and visibility


• Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with group standards


• Support year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements


• Partner with operational teams to drive cost control and profitability

What you'll need to succeed

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or Qualified by Experience


• Proven experience in a management accounting role


• Strong systems knowledge, ideally including Sage and/or Navision (Business Central)


• Experience using Power BI for reporting and data analysis


• Excellent Excel and analytical skills


• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders


• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
