Job description

CRNA Locum Opportunity in Illinois


Contract Length: Ongoing Assignment

Schedule & Shift Details:


  • Shifts: Monday- Friday, 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)


  • No call, No weekends


Practice Setting:


  • Hospital & Ambulatory Surgery Center


  • Hospital Bed Size: 140 beds, 9 surgery rooms


Case Types & Work Details:


  • Patient Population: All ages (low-acuity pediatrics, no PICU/NICU patients requiring higher care are transported)


  • Hospital Volume: 60 cases per day (main hospital + surgery center)


  • Case Mix:


    • Orthopedics (including total joints)

    • Low-acuity pediatrics

    • Trauma (Level II facility)

    • Neuro, plastics, OB, general surgery, ENT, endoscopy, urology/cystoscopy

    • No transplants


    • Physicians handle all blocks and cardiac cases



Team & Support:


  • Care Team Model: Typically, 3 CRNAs per 1 MD


  • Support Staff: Anesthesia Techs are available at the main hospital to assist with setup for larger cases


  • EMR: AllScripts


Requirements:


  • Certification: NBCRNA


  • Experience: New graduates accepted


  • Licensing: Active IL license, open to licensing providers


Credentialing Timeframe:


  • Cred: 6-8 weeks
