DB Couriers are looking for:
Class 1 (C+E) Same Day Driver's (Multiple positions available) - Immediate Start
Location: Head office - Manchester
Shift Times: Flexible - Night work
Pay: £17 per hour
Minimum driving experience - 1 year
Sector: Same-Day Courier & Express Transport
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role:
We're currently looking for reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) Same Day Drivers to join our high-performance courier team. You'll be responsible for urgent, time-sensitive deliveries across the UK, often direct from client to destination with no hub stops.
This role is ideal for drivers who enjoy variety, independence, and the fast pace of same-day logistics.
Key Duties:
Collect and deliver urgent palletised or bulk freight direct to customers
Nationwide or regional routes - often time-critical, point-to-point runs
Maintain excellent communication with dispatch and clients
Complete vehicle and load checks before departure
Follow all road transport and tachograph regulations
Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Driver CPC + Digital Tacho Card
Flexible and able to work at short notice (same-day demand)
Clean, professional driving style and strong customer service
Ability to plan routes and manage time efficiently
No more than 6 points - no DR, DD, or IN endorsements
