ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a locum Radiation Oncologist to provide outpatient cancer care coverage. The role spans two regional cancer centers in Ohio and focuses primarily on adult patients in hospital-based and clinic settings. The physician will work alongside another Radiation Oncologist and one APP, delivering comprehensive radiation therapy services.
Dates / Schedule
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Call Schedule: Managed by permanent providers (no call required)
Credentialing Timeframe: days
Reason for Coverage: Physician retirement
Practice Setting: Outpatient & free-standing cancer centers
Trauma Level (Hospital): Level 2
Patient Population: Adults (hospital-based and office/clinic)
Physicians in Practice: 1
Other Radiation Oncologists Present: Yes
APP Support: 1 APP
Average Daily Census:Outpatient: 20 patients
Inpatient: 1 patient
EMR Systems: Mosaiq, Epic
Required Procedures:
Conventional Radiotherapy
3D Radiotherapy
MRT
External Beam Radiation (3D-CRT, IGRT, IMRT)
Stereotactic Radiosurgery
Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy
Core Duties:
Order tests and diagnostic imaging
Prescribe radiation treatment plans
Board Certified in Radiation Oncology Required
Active Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain) Required
BLS Certification Required
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation Required
