This comprehensive healthcare provider serves the Sarasota and Manatee counties in Florida. It comprises over 100 board-certified physicians across more than 20 specialties, offering a wide range of medical services such as primary care, specialty care, and physical therapy.

Position: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Compensation: $25-43 /hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Summary: Work collaboratively under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to provide high-quality rehabilitative care that supports our patients' recovery goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients of varying ages and conditions
  • Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to supervising therapists
  • Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and recovery techniques
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized treatment environment
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal patient outcomes


Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current Florida PTA license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • CPR certification (preferred or must obtain upon hire)
  • Previous experience in outpatient or clinical rehab settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
