Neurology Physician

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a locum neurologist to provide inpatient, adult-only coverage due to an unexpected provider departure. The role involves managing a moderate-to-high daily patient load alongside an established care team, with access to onsite diagnostics and Epic EMR. This is a temporary assignment with potential for extended coverage needs through early fall.

  Coverage Period: June 29 (8:00 AM) July 12 (6:00 PM)

  Ongoing Need: Additional locums needed through September/October 2026

  Credentialing: ASAP turnaround preferred


• 
  Availability Requirement: Must confirm availability for listed dates and potential extension

• 
  Setting: Hospital (100% inpatient, 100% adult patients)


• 
  Patient Volume: + patients per day

Core Duties Include:

• Radiologic exam interpretation (unofficial)


• Thrombolytic therapy administration


• EEG (electroencephalogram)


• EMG (electromyogram)


• Brain death examinations

• Board Certified in Neurology (required)


• Active Ohio license or IMLC eligibility (required)


• ACLS certification (required)


• Clean malpractice/background file (required)


• NPDB self-query report (dated within 30 days of submission) (required)


• Must clearly document availability and meet all submission requirements
