Description: Residential Home Cook - Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Leave) starting end of May 2026. Sunnydale Care Home - Isle of Man Minimum 3 Days/Week Flexible Hours Competitive Pay Sunnydale Care Home are seeking a Cook to join our friendly team in providing freshly prepared, nutritious meals for our residents. If you're passionate about cooking and making a difference, we'd love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook meals for residents in line with dietary needs and preferences Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are consistently met Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and fully stocked Work closely with care staff to support residents' wellbeing through nutrition Help plan weekly menus and reduce food waste Requirements: Previous experience in a cooking role (care or hospitality preferred) Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Understanding of special diets and allergens Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently A genuine interest in working with older people DBS What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate Flexible working hours Supportive team environment Training and development opportunities This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave , starting at the end of May 2026.
