Position: Show Host/Usher $16.90/HR |
Description: Overview: This is a seasonal position lasting for the 2026 operating season only. Seasonal associates are let go for a period of no less than 13 weeks at the end of the 2026 operating season.
Responsibilities:
- Entertain park guests in a professional manner. Ensure a positive experience for every guest.
- Controlling crowds and interacting with guests in a supportive and understanding role.
- Maintain and clean Stadiums, Show Venues and Backstage areas.
- Work Private Events or Shows as assigned
- Ensure that safety of guests, animals and performers are maintained.
- Maintaining "show illusion" and belief of character at all times for our guests
- Other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
- The ability to confidently perform and speak in front of a large crowd.
- The skills to improvise interactions with guests and licensed characters is applicable.
- The ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal communication
- Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years of age
- Physical Requirements:
- Constantly standing, talking, climbing, walking, reaching, using finger movement, grasping,
feeling, speaking clearly, hearing conversation, using hearing acuity, seeing near far, stooping,
bending, kneeling.
- Working in extreme heat, sun, cold, wetness, humidity and temperature change.
- Must be able to carry
5 to 10 pounds.
- All lifts over 51 lbs. require help from a coworker or mechanical device.
- Overtime of adults may be required from time to time to accommodate the business need.
