The Brody School of Medicine, located in Greenville, North Carolina, is committed to increasing the supply of primary care physicians serving the state, improving the health and well-being of eastern North Carolina, and training physicians who will meet the healthcare needs of the state. The Department of Family Medicine at ECU - Brody School of Medicine is a nationally recognized leader in Family Medicine education and is a well-established department comprised of: Clinical Services, Residency Education, Medical Student Education, Sports Medicine, Geriatrics, and Research divisions. The department provides a wide variety of comprehensive primary care services for all age groups including: obstetrical care, office-based procedures, nutrition services, counseling, and psychological support in an integrated care model.

The Department of Family Medicine is seeking physicians for the following fixed term or tenure track positions:

Family Medicine Physician:

Seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to participate in the teaching, mentoring, advising, and supervision of residents, medical students, and other learners; will provide medical care to patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings and will participate in various scholarly activities.

Geriatric Physician

:

Seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician with additional qualifications in Geriatrics to participate in the teaching, mentoring, advising, and supervision of Family Medicine residents, Geriatric fellows, medical students and other learners; will provide medical care to patient in the ambulatory clinic, Family Medicine Center, ECU Health Medical Center, and one continuing care retirement community with skilled care beds.

Geriatrics Division Director

:

Seeking a BC Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician with additional qualifications in Geriatrics to lead clinical, teaching, and research activities in the Geriatrics Division. The Division Director will serve as a member of the department's senior leadership team and set the course for the Geriatrics Division. Will also serve as a faculty physician and participate in teaching, clinical, and other scholarly activities.

ECU Health Medical Center is the flagship hospital for ECU Health and serves as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
