Description:


Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant Director to lead Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) across a broad portfolio of Medical Specialties and Continuum of Care programs.


This is a dynamic leadership opportunity for an APC who thrives at the intersection of strategy, clinical excellence, and innovation-while continuing to practice in a specialty setting.



Position Highlights:




  • Provide operational and clinical leadership for APCs across multiple specialty and care continuum service lines




  • Collaborate with physician and operational leaders to design and scale high-performing care models that optimize APC utilization




  • Lead initiatives to improve access, quality outcomes, patient experience, and program performance




  • Mentor and develop APC leaders, strengthening leadership across the organization




  • Maintain a hybrid role combining leadership with clinical practice in one of the following areas:
    Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Weight Management, Travel Medicine, Dermatology, Sleep Medicine, Psychiatry, Urgent Care, Integrative Medicine, or Hospital Medicine





Qualifications:




  • Minimum 2 years of relevant leadership or clinical experience




  • Active California PA license




  • DEA registration




  • For Physician Assistants: CAPA Controlled Substance Certification





Compensation & Benefits:




  • Competitive salary: $224,000 - $231,000 annually
