Description: Overview: 2026 Touring Water Parade
Join the Splash Water Parade Touring Team!
The Splash Water Parade is a groundbreaking touring production that combines singers, dancers, breathtaking water effects, cutting-edge technology, and dazzling performances. We're looking for talented individuals with diverse technical, operational, and creative expertise to bring this spectacular parade to life on one of our 2 multi-city tours.
- All roles are seasonal positions
- Work is based on a 6 day work week
- Days are expected to vary between 8 and 10 hours per day
- Travel and housing are covered completely by the company. Hotel rooms based on double occupancy. Meal expenses are not covered.
- Rates are flat pay and there is no separate Per Diem
BLUE TOUR 2026
• Six Flags over Georgia (Austell, GA) = Late May - Mid June • Carowinds (Charlotte, NC) = Late June - Mid July • Dorney Park (Allentown, PA) = Early August - Late August o Most seasonals begin May 12 and run through 8/28
GREEN TOUR 2026
• Kings Dominion (Doswell, VA) = Late June - Mid August o Most seasonals begin June 16 and run through August 14th.
Responsibilities: Float Pumps and Water Systems Technician (1 Per Tour)
Responsibilities:
• Reports to the Technical Manager • Maintain water quality with testing, system maintenance and treatments. • Monitor, repair, and maintain float pump systems and structural integrity. • Conduct water system checks and calibrations to adapt to venue-specific needs. • Coordinate with leadership on water system needs during assembly and tour phases. • Execute maintenance, protection and operation of water show action equipment. • Participate in float assembly/disassembly, load-in/load-out during tour moves. • Coordinate site preparations, ensuring water supply and system needs are met at each location. • Troubleshoot all technical failures having to do with water systems during rehearsals and performances. This includes power supplies to those systems. • Document and communicate status of water play systems, including maintenance schedules and incidents. • Plan and implement modifications to water play systems to adapt to venue-specific requirements. • Prepare water play equipment for transport between venues. • Performs routine water quality testing and reporting. • Maintains safety and quality at all times. • Performs routine chemical treatments to maintain water quality. • Assist in refilling float water systems and water props as necessary. • Prepares all water systems for winter storage at end of run. • Drive and or direct a float or show vehicle in show or when necessary.
Qualifications: Minimum Requirements:
• Valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record • Willingness to drive a parade float when necessary • 2-4 years of experience with water play equipment systems in themed entertainment settings. • Knowledge of water system operations, including pumps, filtration, and fountain systems. • Familiarity with safety protocols and maintenance of large moving structures, especially floats. • Proven experience in water quality maintenance such as with water park operation or maintenance teams. • Experience with maintaining and repairing variable speed water pumps.
Desired Requirements:
• Experience maintaining parade floats or theme park ride systems. • Knowledge of digitally controlled water effects used in theme parks or live shows.
Weekly Pay Rate:
• $1, 250.00 (Travel, Hotel Covered)
