We are working with a reputable hospital in the Los Angeles area that is hiring for the role of Director of Nursing in Behavioral Health.

The Director of Nursing , under the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) , provides 24/7 strategic and operational oversight for assigned nursing units. Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality patient care, collaborating with medical staff, managing human resources compassionately, overseeing budget processes, maintaining a safe care environment, and leading performance improvement initiatives.

The role involves supervising departments that care for adolescent to geriatric patients, including critically ill and rehabilitating individuals, with sensitivity to their developmental needs.

Qualifications:

RN License in California

CPR/BLS

MABPRO Certified by time of credentialing

Fire Card

Previous leadership experience and 3 + years of clinical experience

Experience in budget preparation/operations.

Skilled in Microsoft Office at an intermediate level
