We are seeking a General Dentist to join a mission-driven, community-focused health organization at its Michigan City location. This organization is a federally qualified health center committed to expanding access to high-quality, comprehensive healthcare for underserved and diverse populations. Monday: 8:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m.
Thursday: 8:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m.
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide routine and emergency dental services, including diagnosis and development of treatment plans
Perform general restorative procedures, crown and bridge work, removable prosthetics, uncomplicated endodontics, and minor oral surgery
Initiate and interpret radiographs and laboratory studies
Administer and prescribe anesthetics and medications as appropriate
Refer patients to specialty care within the organization or to external providers when needed
Supervise Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienists
Conduct follow-up care to ensure continuity and quality of treatment
Deliver dental and oral health education to patients and families
Participate in reviewing clinic productivity, scheduling procedures, and establishing clinical guidelines
Teach and train patients and staff on illness prevention and oral health best practices
