Physician / South Carolina / Locum Tenens / ER physician opportunity located just inland of coastal

Great opportunity for an ER Physician to join a growing ER department in rural South Carolina just inland from coastal Beaufort, SC.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Room Physician


• 12 hour shifts - some 24 hours shifts possible


• 14-16, 12 hour shifts a month or 7, 24 hour shifts a month


• Both day and night shifts are available


• One physician on staff each shift but plans to add an NP to model


• New expansion in process ready to open now - will double the size and volume


• Expansion includes EmPath behavioral medicine treatment, 2-3 Fasttrack rooms, and more


• Rural hospital with very modern facilities, fully equipped lab and imaging dept, strong surgical dept, ICU, and inpatient medical care


• Strong affiliation relationship with University of SC


• ICU beds
