Basic Job Functions: The basic functions of the Beam Mill Lab Tech include but are not limited to: safely obtaining and testing all samples as required and housekeeping and maintenance in work area. Able to work rotating shifts and scheduled and unscheduled overtime including nights, weekend and holidays. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Pior testing lab experience. Experience in an industrial environment.
