Description: Join Our Team as a Certified Nurse Midwife Outpatient Clinic Focused Position We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide high-quality outpatient women's health care. In this vital role, you will focus on managing both high-risk and low-risk obstetric cases, offering comprehensive prenatal, postpartum, and newborn care within a supportive clinical environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled provider looking to make a meaningful impact on women's health and well-being. Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in outpatient women s health, including high-risk and low-risk obstetrics
- Proficiency in dating ultrasounds and newborn care
- Ability to manage complex OB cases with confidence
- Strong documentation skills with CVs reflecting accurate work history, including month and date, and accounting for employment gaps
- Familiarity with electronic health records, preferably EPIC
- Active DEA certification prior to start date
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently within outpatient settings
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with high-risk OB beyond standard outpatient care
- Prior work with electronic health records systems other than EPIC
- Additional training or certifications in women's health or obstetrics
- Experience with chart closure within 72 hours
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Midwifery program
- Valid state licensure as a Certified Nurse Midwife
- At least 3 years of relevant outpatient women s health experience, including high-risk obstetrics
- Strong familiarity with prenatal ultrasounds and newborn care
Other Requirements:
- Active DEA license before the start date
- Immunizations including Flu vaccine, TB test/X-ray within the past 90 days, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and Tdap, in accordance with credentialing requirements
- Three peer references who have supervised or worked with the candidate within the past two years, validated at an equal or higher training level
- Ability to commit to a 30-day notice for assignment termination
- Credentialing process estimated at 30-90 days, with timely submission of supporting documentation essential
