Coverage Needed
- Schedule: 24-hour call coverage
- 12-hour days, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with night call coverage support
Clinical Details
- Cover 2 sites
- Required to perform ERCP, 7 to 10 procedures per week
- Daily patient volume: 27
- Call: 12-hour in-house GI hospitalist support with 12 hours of night off-site call
- EMR: Meditech, PK, Provation, eCW, Patient Keeper
- Support Staff: Mid-level support Monday to Friday, hospital support includes PAs, RNs, practice support includes CMAs and PA
- Typical Day:
- 1st Location: Scopes in the morning then rounding (patient care) and see any consults that are called in
- 2nd Location: Scopes in the morning then rounding (patient care) and see any consults that are called in (generally not as many scopes and patients to round on)
- Evening pager at hotel
Requirements
- Board Certified
- SC Licensed
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
