Position: Orthopedics Physician Assistant |
Description: Facility in Colorado Springs, CO seeking Ortho APP locums coverage Rates: $160/hr Opportunity Highlights
- Dates of Coverage: Feb 9 13
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (No weekends or call).
- Setting: Inpatient, Trauma Level I (300-bed facility).
- EMR: Epic (Virtual training and modules required).
Clinical Responsibilities The provider will support the Orthopedic Surgeon on call by performing the following duties for adult and geriatric patient populations:
- Inpatient rounding and daily management.
- Consults and H&Ps.
- Surgical First Assisting: As needed (experience/certification is highly preferred).
- General surgical team support.
Provider Requirements
- Certification: Active AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA certification (Required).
- Licensure: Active Colorado (CO) state license (Required).
- DEA: Active DEA registration (Required); must be willing to transfer to CO.
- Experience: Clean malpractice and background history. First Assist experience is highly preferred.
- NPDB: A Self-Query NPDB report dated within the last 30 days must be provided at the time of presentation (Required).
- Travel: This site will NOT accept local providers. Candidates must disclose their departing city at the time of submission.
