Job Title: Locum Physician OB Hospitalist
Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Locum OB Hospitalist and play a vital role in providing exceptional maternal and neonatal care in Pendleton, Oregon. This opportunity allows you to offer crucial services in a compassionate hospital environment, ensuring positive outcomes for mothers and babies. Required Skills:
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Oregon or the ability to obtain required licensing
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, or Rural Obstetrics (OB/GYN)
- Proven experience managing obstetric patients in a hospital setting
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with high-risk pregnancies and emergency obstetric procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Prior locum or ER coverage experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 2 years of OB hospitalist experience or equivalent clinical practice
- OB Fellowship training is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Availability for 20 shifts per month starting December 1, 2025
- Willingness to work 24-hour shifts, including weekends, with on-call responsibilities
- Commitment to maintaining up-to-date certifications and licensure
- Travel or lodging reimbursement, if applicable
