Description: I am recruiting for a locums Trauma Surgery APP opportunity in Pennsylvania. Please review the details below and let you know ASAP if you'd be able to assist with coverage starting March or April timeframe!
Trauma Surgery APP - 1.5 hours N of Harrisburg, PA
- 3 cases per day
- 1 cases per night
- seeking 2 Trauma Surgery APPs to cover a mix of days and nights
- days 7a-7p and nights 7p-7a
- Mon-Sun rotation
- No call
- Inpatient coverage for Trauma Surgery and Emergency General service at a Level II Trauma Center
- Candidate must be able to perform bedside procedures like I&Ds, laceration repairs, chest tube placement, central line placement
- 2 staffed APPs during the day
- 1 APP at night working in tandem with Trauma / Acute Care surgeons
- 20 total patients per day split between providers
- Average of 5 admits per day split between providers
- Average of 2-5 admits per night
- Less than 10 consults per day split between providers
- Around 5 consults per night split between providers
