Position: Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician


Description: ATC West is working with a hospital that is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist to join a collaborative and high-performing team in Palm Springs, California a destination known for its lifestyle, sunshine, and year-round outdoor living.


This is a direct-hire, hospital-based opportunity within a Level I Trauma Center and Level III NICU environment, offering strong clinical support, teaching opportunities, and a predictable schedule.



Position Highlights

24/7 in-house coverage with 2 OB Hospitalists on shift at all times

Never work alone strong team-based model
Approximately 60 deliveries per month

Practice includes:
Delivery attendance
OB triage and patient management
Surgical assists
Fetal monitoring
ER coverage

  • Supported by Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Neonatology teams

  • Teaching opportunities with residents, fellows, and medical students





Schedule Options



  • Full-Time: 7.5 shifts/month (24-hour shifts)


  • Part-Time: 5.5 shifts/month (benefit eligible)

  • Predictable, block-style scheduling

  • 387-bed tertiary acute care hospital

Only Level I Trauma Center in the Coachella Valley

  • Serves over 8,000 square miles of Southeastern California

Level III NICU (23+ weeks)

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in OB/GYN

  • Active California license (or willingness to obtain)

  • DEA required prior to start

  • OB Hospitalist experience preferred

  • Must reside locally or be willing to relocate

  • Not accepting locum tenens candidates

  • Not accepting visa sponsorship

  • NPDB Self-Query required (within 30 days)

  • Candidate eligibility subject to facility clearance
