Position: Family Practice - With OB Physician |
Description: ATC West Healthcare is seeking a Primary Care Physician to provide family practice care. The role involves managing a moderate patient load with support staff and performing routine primary care services, including minor in-office procedures. The ideal candidate can commit to a consistent weekly schedule and meet credentialing and licensure requirements in Michigan.
Dates / Schedule
Start Date: After credentialing (estimated days)
Assignment Duration: Through May or early June 2026 (confirmation required)
Schedule: Minimum 3 days per week (up to 5 days possible)
Preferred Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (flexible)
Patient Volume: patients per day
Interview: Required; availability must be provided at submission
Job Details / Responsibilities
- Provide family medicine care for all ages (pediatric cases are rare)
- Manage a daily patient load of individuals
- Work alongside 1 Nurse Practitioner and 1:1 Medical Assistant support
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation
- Perform minor procedures in-office (2 procedure rooms available)
- Order and review in-house lab work (no radiology on site)
- Maintain high-quality patient care and clinical documentation
- Participate in standard onboarding and credentialing processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
Board Certification in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM) (or Board Eligible for new grads)
Active Michigan Medical License
Michigan DEA License
ACLS & BLS certification (AHA required)
Clean background for expedited credentialing
Minimum 3 days/week availability (must specify exact schedule)
Preferred:
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
