Position: Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Focus: Heart Failure/ICU
Location: Houston, Texas
Type: Permanent & Full-Time
Schedule: 7p-7am, nights, paid for a full 40 hours.

No call
- 12 hour shifts: 7p-7a (paid for 40 hours)
- AGACNP required
- 2-3 years of RN or NP Critical Care experience required, Cardiology experience strongly preferred
- New NPs MUST have 2-3 years of RN experience with Critical Care ICU, Cardiac Care, fresh transplants &/or CV Recovery including working w/LVADs & ECMO
- Experience with heart failure population
- Patient populations include VV/VA ECMO, Mechanical Circulatory Support, Heart Transplant, Lung Transplant, LVAD, Post-op Cardiac Surgery
- 8% geographical differential
- Position responsible for providing comprehensive patient care by systemic assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, and in-hospital follow up, affecting direct patient care through the disease process according to the Texas Nurse Practice Act
