Position: Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician |
Description: Seeking an OB/GYN Physician for locum coverage in a hospital setting in New Jersey. This role provides in-house obstetric coverage with a consistent delivery volume and support from L&D staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Labor & Delivery Coverage:
Provide in-house OB coverage, managing deliveries and triage patients throughout the shift.
Procedures:
- Cesarean sections (C-sections)
- Dilation & Curettage (D&C)
Patient Care:
Manage 3 7 deliveries per day in addition to OB triage patients.
Collaborative Care:
Work independently with support from L&D staff; CNMs may work alongside at times.
Schedule & Work Environment:
- 24-hour restricted call shifts
- In-house coverage (not from home)
- Hospital setting
- EMR: Epic
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- New Jersey license preferred
- Relevant OB experience required
Credentialing:
- Standard hospital credentialing process
