Position: Water Technician Assistant - $20.89/HR |
Description: Overview:Assisting our Full-Time Plumbing Team with maintaining water quality and pool maintenance for all Hurricane Harbor Chicago Pools.
Must be 18 years or older.
Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Take pH and chlorine samples of all Hurricane Harbor pools on an hourly basis
• Keep all pump houses in a neat and clean manner
• Inspect and clean strainer baskets of all pumps on a daily basis
• Inspect all pool systems in Hurricane Harbor daily
• Backwash all filters needing cleaning in Hurricane Harbor
• Fill out daily paperwork as it pertains to Hurricane Harbor
• Deliver chemicals to any and all locations needing them
• Comply with all Six Flags Safety and Fire responsibilities, policies, and procedures
• Adhere to Park attendance policy as stated in the Six Flags Handbook
• Follow and complete all delegated tasks deemed by management
• Adhere to Six Flags Standards of Appearance
Qualifications: Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum Age 18
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to successfully complete BBL training and OSHA training
• Must be professional, self-motivated, and have an enthusiastic attitude
• Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
• Must possess strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task
• Must possess the physical dexterity to operate hand tools and motor vehicles
• Must be mechanically inclined and skilled
• Must be able to work at various heights on ladders and catwalks
• Must provide basic hand tools
• Attempt to become CPO trained and certified
