Are you a dedicated Physical Therapist passionate about providing specialized oncology rehabilitation care? We are seeking a skilled Temp - PT to join our outpatient team in Keene, NH, starting May 11, 2026. This vital role offers an opportunity to empower patients through individualized therapy designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life during all phases of cancer recovery and survivorship. Required Skills:
- Valid physical therapy license in the state of New Hampshire or eligible for licensure.
- Proven experience in outpatient oncology rehabilitation, with knowledge of managing impairments such as pain, lymphedema, fatigue, and functional limitations.
- Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Proficiency in standard PT modalities including estim and USD, with device-specific training provided.
- Excellent patient communication skills and a compassionate approach.
- Capable of managing a typical patient load of 1 patient at a time, with evaluations lasting approximately 30-60 minutes.
- Strong organizational skills to coordinate care and document effectively.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, or cardiovascular rehab.
- Certification or specialization in oncology or related areas.
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.
- Familiarity with assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Current, unrestricted licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Minimum of 1-2 years outpatient therapy experience, preferably with oncology patients.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
Other Requirements:
- No travel or overnight stays required; local applicants within approximately 50 miles will not be considered.
- Must be available to work during daytime hours; schedule adherence is essential no schedule accommodations or block scheduling requests accepted.
- Reliable phone communication with voicemail set up for timely contact.
- Ability to work a minimum of 5 days during the assignment with scheduled time off clearly noted prior to start.
- Healthcare provider must adhere to dress code: personal scrubs of any color or business casual attire, no open-toe/back shoes.
- COVID vaccination and compliance with all applicable health and safety standards preferred.
