Cardiology - Electrophysiology Physician

• Flexible Schedule: This is a part-time position, with an estimated 15 shifts per month. The role includes a mix of clinic, ambulatory procedures, and inpatient call coverage. You will be on call with a 30-minute response time.


• Diverse Responsibilities: You will perform a wide range of diagnostic and interventional EP procedures, including the implantation of pacemakers, cardioverter/defibrillators, and Watchman devices. You will also perform cardiac ablations, loop recorder procedures, and provide inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology services.


• Collaborative Team: You will not work solo. You will consult on patients admitted under hospitalist and ICU services and participate in multidisciplinary care for cardiac surgery and structural heart patients.


• EMR System: The facility uses Epic for all charting.


• Quick Privileging: The estimated time to secure full or temporary privileges is 60 days.

• Provide inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology services.


• Perform a wide range of procedures, including cardiac rhythm conversion, ablation procedures, and the implantation of various cardiac devices.


• Consult with hospitalist and ICU services.


• Participate in multidisciplinary care for cardiac surgery and structural heart patients.

• Education: MD or DO.


• Board Status: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible.


• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience.


• Licensure: An active Illinois State License is required.


• Certifications: ACLS, DEA, and CSR licenses are required
