Position: Pathology Physician Assistant |
Description: We are urgently seeking a travel Pathology Assistant in Georgetown, SC. The role involves assisting with pathology tasks with an immediate start date.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: On-site
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Responsibilities:
The Pathology Assistant will be responsible for:
- Completing daily caseloads
- Working with ASCP and EPIC systems
- Performing strong grossing tasks
- Covering additional locations
Qualifications:
- Relevant years of experience
- Appropriate degree in Pathology or related field
- ASCP certification
- Proficiency in EPIC systems
- Strong grossing experience
- Ability to complete caseloads
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently
Desired Skills:
- Additional years of experience
- Advanced degree or ongoing education
- Additional certifications if available
- Experience in a similar healthcare setting
