We are currently recruiting passionate Teaching Assistants to join a highly supportive SEN school in Darlington on a full-time basis. Supports pupils aged 2-19, with opportunities across both primary and secondary phases -
A collaborative and supportive working environment, with a strong leadership team -
Staff work closely together to provide consistent, high-quality support for all learners The Role -
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs -
Support learners with needs including ASD, ADHD, PMLD, MLD, and SEMH -
Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and engaging in learning activities -
Support behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies -
Work closely with class teachers and wider staff to understand individual learning needs -
Provide personal care where required, ensuring dignity and respect at all times About You We are looking for individuals who are: -
Experienced in working with children in UK school settings -
Ideally qualified in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, or a related field (desirable) -
Confident in building positive relationships with pupils and colleagues -
Resilient, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic environment -
