Description: Hello,
We are partnering with a Community Health Center in beautiful Alaska that is seeking a General Dentist for a locum tenens assignment beginning mid-March. This is an excellent opportunity to serve a diverse patient population while working with a supportive clinical team.
Position Details:
Setting: Community Health Center
Start Date: March 16, 2026
Schedule: Flexible 4x10 schedule (Monday Thursday or Tuesday Friday)
Assignment Length: 3 4 months, with potential for extension
Licensure Requirement: Active Alaska dental license required
Clinical Environment:
Work alongside one additional DDS in a collaborative setting
Strong support staff, including 3 Dental Assistants and 1 Registered Dental Hygienist
Patient volume averages patients per day, with approximately one patient per hour plus occasional emergency walk-ins
Providers must be comfortable treating patients of all ages
Clinic serves a diverse community, with approximately 40% Medicaid patient population
