Description:


Position: Neonatologist Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Cartersville, Georgia

Setting: Hospital-based Level II NICU

Schedule: In-house daytime coverage + home call overnight

Role Highlights:

As a Neonatologist in this Level II NICU, you'll play a key role in newborn care and delivery support in a collaborative, community-based setting:




  • Manage newborns requiring Level II NICU care




  • Attend high-risk and C-section deliveries




  • Provide well-baby nursery coverage (12-bed unit) when pediatricians are unavailable




  • Participate in daytime rounds and take overnight call from home




  • Support neonatal resuscitation and stabilization efforts




  • Collaborate with dedicated nursing and allied health teams




  • Participate in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives

Requirements:


  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology (within 5 years of residency) Required




  • Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Must be completed prior to start




  • GA medical license or willing to obtain Required




  • Training/experience in Level II NICU Required




  • DEA license Required prior to start
