Position: Neonatologist Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Cartersville, Georgia
Setting: Hospital-based Level II NICU
Schedule: In-house daytime coverage + home call overnight
Role Highlights: As a Neonatologist in this Level II NICU, you'll play a key role in newborn care and delivery support in a collaborative, community-based setting:
Manage newborns requiring Level II NICU care
Attend high-risk and C-section deliveries
Provide well-baby nursery coverage (12-bed unit) when pediatricians are unavailable
Participate in daytime rounds and take overnight call from home
Support neonatal resuscitation and stabilization efforts
Collaborate with dedicated nursing and allied health teams
Participate in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives

Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology (within 5 years of residency) Required
Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Must be completed prior to start
GA medical license or willing to obtain Required
Training/experience in Level II NICU Required
DEA license Required prior to start
