Description: Electrophysiology Physician Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Electrophysiology Physician and make a meaningful impact on patient care through advanced cardiac rhythm management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a reputable hospital setting, performing complex electrophysiology procedures, including ablations and device implants, with a focus on heart rhythm disturbances. If you are a dedicated cardiologist with expertise in electrophysiology and a passion for pioneering treatment options, this position is designed to elevate your career. In this role, you will be responsible for performing cardiac electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, TEEs, and moderate sedation, utilizing Abbott Ensite-X mapping system. You will support a diverse adult patient population and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care. The schedule includes day shifts from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with remuneration at a rate of $463.13 per hour, along with overtime, holiday pay, and comprehensive benefits. Required Skills: Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Cardiology with subspecialty certification in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology AZ medical license or eligible for licensure Minimum of 1 year of electrophysiology experience, with documented performance of at least 100 EP cases in the past two years, emphasizing ablations Proficiency in EP procedures such as ablations, device management, TEEs, and moderate sedation Experience with Abbott Ensite-X mapping system ACLS certification Ability to perform moderate sedation independently Strong patient management and communication skills Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience working in hospital cath labs Familiarity with Cerner EMR system Additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support or other relevant specialties Experience managing complex arrhythmia cases Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Active AZ medical license or eligibility At least 1 year of electrophysiology practice with documented case volume Other Requirements: Availability to start on April 27, 2026 Ability to work scheduled shifts Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Willingness to support hospital consults (3-4 per day) and EP cases (4-6 per day) Credentialing to be completed within approximately 30 days Participation in holiday shifts with 1.5x pay for specified observances Complies with all applicable state, federal, and local licensing and certification requirements Bring your expertise and commitment to excellence to our team and advance your career in cardiac electrophysiology.
