Position: Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

An established primary care practice in the Princeton, NJ area is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality care to patients, collaborating with a team of physicians/APPs, and contributing to the success and growth of the practice. Part time hours (20 hours/week), 2.5 day schedule.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outpatient care and coverage in nearby nursing facility

  • Tuesday 9am-5pm, Wednesday 9am-5pm, Thursday 9am-1pm

  • Potential for one Saturday morning per month from 9am-12pm

  • No pediatric care, 13+

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations

  • Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians, including medication management, patient education, and coordination of follow-up care

  • Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies

  • Provide counseling and support to patients and their families regarding conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless patient care coordination and workflow efficiency.


Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New Jersey

  • Preferably 1 year of primary care experience

  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation

  • Commitment to maintaining professional competence through ongoing education and participation in professional organizations
