Description: ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Locum OB/GYN Hospitalist to provide 24-hour in-house coverage for obstetric patients. This role focuses exclusively on inpatient obstetric care, including emergent deliveries, with no gynecologic responsibilities. The physician will work independently alongside on-call MFM support in a high-acuity hospital setting. Dates / Schedule
Start Date: ASAP (April target)
Shift Length: 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)
Consecutive Shifts: Maximum of two 24-hour shifts in a row
Call: 24/7 in-house call (call rooms provided)

Patient Care:
OBED patients
Emergent obstetric cases (vaginal deliveries and C-sections)
Patients without a primary OB/GYN
Support for Iowa s only maternity transport team

Required Skills & Qualifications
Board Certified in OB/GYN (board-eligible candidates considered)
Active Iowa medical license or active IMLC (LOQ required at name clear)
Ability to start ASAP (April target)
Clean malpractice and background history
Self-Query NPDB (pulled within the last month) required at submission
Must not be local to the Des Moines area
