JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Active PA License or IMLC
- BC in Cardiology
- DEA
- ACLS, BLS
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty
- Proficiency with Epic and Cerner
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide IP & OP cardiology care
- Cover weekday clinic, weeknight call, and/or 24-hr weekend call
- Conduct IP rounding, consults, TEEs, cardioversions, and image readings
- Proctor stress tests occasionally
- Collaborate with APPs and PA-Cs for patient management
- Respond to calls, with most handled via phone triage; rare in-person stat TEE for dissection
