Description: HGV Technician / Mechanic Black Bourton, Oxfordshire Full Time Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm (Saturday overtime available) ss45,000 - ss48,000 per annum An established plant hire company with over 50 years of industry experience, providing high-quality plant and digger hire across the UK, is seeking an experienced HGV Technician / Mechanic to maintain and repair their HGV fleet. They take pride in delivering reliable, well-maintained equipment and exceptional service to their customers, prioritising safety and operational excellence. This role is central to maintaining fleet reliability and supporting operational efficiency across the business. Key Responsibilities Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs (mechanical and electrical) Diagnosing faults and completing effective repairs Conducting 6-weekly inspections Brake testing MOT preparation Ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant and roadworthy Maintaining accurate service records and completing all relevant PMI paperwork Working efficiently to minimise downtime across the fleet About You Essential Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic Strong mechanical knowledge, including servicing, maintenance and fault finding on HGVs Own tools required Reliable, self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Desirable Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) Class 2 (Category C) driving licence What's on Offer Company uniform Works van Company pension scheme Overtime opportunities available If you are a skilled HGV Technician / Mechanic looking for a stable, well-paid role with excellent earning potential, apply today.
